GILBERT, Ariz., April 18, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — SYNERGY Home carethe nation’s fastest growing home care franchisor and an Entrepreneur Franchise 500 company, has sold more than 100 new territories in the past two years, increasing the size of its system by 25% since March 2020.

In 2021, SYNERGY HomeCare sold 52 territories, a 36.8% increase over 2020, when the franchisor signed 38 industry-leading territories. 2020 sales were higher than any other home care franchisor according to a review of Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and other public records of all International member home care franchisors Franchise Association (IFA).

SYNERGY HomeCare, which started the franchise in 2005, sold nine new territories in Q1 2022 and expanded into several of the top 50 DMAs, including:

  • Leesburg, Virginia
  • Fort Collins, CO
  • Kissimmee, Florida
  • Fort Mill, South Carolina
  • Virginia Beach, Virginia

These densely populated areas, popular with retirees, create a robust environment for caregiver recruitment and customer demand. AARP reports that the over-65 population will grow by 30.4% to 73 million by 2030 and that 90% of this group wants to “age in place”.

“Demand for home care remains high post-pandemic, driven by demographics as well as a growing desire to age in place, both of which are fueling our pipeline. Compassionate entrepreneurs recognize the unique opportunity in the care segment at home, not only to build a business, but to make a difference in their community,” said Charlie Young, CEO of SYNERGY HomeCare. “Over the past two years, we’ve enhanced our onboarding system to help our franchise partners quickly establish a strong base of operations for customer acquisition and caregiver recruitment.

“In addition, we have raised the level of support we are able to offer across the business. Our franchisees have given us high marks in third-party Franchise Business Review (FBR) satisfaction surveys, which adds to our overall value proposition.”

Young pointed out that the latest FBR survey showed a significant improvement in overall satisfaction over the previous year, with SYNERGY HomeCare surpassing the FBR benchmark, representative of 27,000 franchisees across all industries.

One of the main areas of service line investment for the brand is the upcoming launch of its expanded Memory Care program this spring. The far-reaching initiative will include enhanced training for caregivers, innovative technology tools for clients, and extensive support resources for families.

Additionally, SYNERGY HomeCare franchisees will benefit from the rollout of the brand’s new Recruiting Management System (RMS) technology platform, designed to streamline the hiring process to support continued growth in customer demand.
