Home of the Miami Marlins, LoanDepot Park has expanded its menu just in time for the home opener – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports
MIAMI (WSVN) — The Marlins are giving fans a big hand when it comes to the menu at LoanDepot Park. In just days, baseball is back and fans have plenty of new dining options this year at the Diamond.
Marlins fans better bring their appetite when attending a Marlins baseball game this season.
Beginning April 14, for the Marlins’ home opener against the Philadelphia Phillies, the Marlins and hotel partner Levy ensure the dining experience for fans this season will be a tasty treat for any home game.
“Anyone who comes here will be able to find something they want to eat,” Levy executive chef Alex Paz said.
On Monday, the team gave 7News a look at what big league fans can expect when looking to dine and drink at LoanDepot Park.
“People should expect bold flavors, lots of love put into this food. Being from Miami myself, we represent the city of Miami very well,” Paz said.
The menu will feature local specialties, such as croquetas, arepasand pinchowhich received the Best in Bun 2022 award at Burgerliscious.
“That’s what they were really pushing, to have more local flavor and more Miami culture in the park,” Croqueta County Chairman Johnathon Andrade said, “and they wanted the whole park to smell like cafecito and associate it with croquetas.”
Even with all the new additions to LoanDepot Park’s menu, what would a baseball game be without stadium staples like hot dogs, burgers and pizza.
“Pizza is like a million combinations. What do you want? Want heavy cheese? No cheese? Light sauce? Extra sauce? That’s what you want it to be,” said Miami’s Best Pizza General Manager Thad Winiecaie.
Marlin fans, whatever your palette cravings, LoanDepot Park made sure to cover all the bases.
